TERMS AND CONDITIONS – CSTA MEMBERSHIP PLATFORM
The following Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Online Service at http://cstatennis.in and your registration and payment for an CSTA Membership from the Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association (together the “CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform”).
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they apply to any and all use of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform. As part of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP registration process, you will need to show that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions by ticking a box on the registration page, and if you do not accept them, you will not be able to register for an CSTA MEMBERSHIP account.
- ABOUT US
- The CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform is owned by Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association (“the CSTA”, “our” “us” or “we”). We are a company registered in Chhattisgarh, India.
- Our registered office address is Union Club, Moti Bagh Chowk,Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India .

- In case of discrepancy between the English, French or Spanish versions of these Terms & Conditions, or any other content within the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform, the English version shall prevail.
- INTRODUCTION
- These Terms and Conditions shall apply to any person accessing and/or using the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform.
- Your ability to access and/or use the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform is at our sole discretion and it will only be made available to you with our consent. We can withhold or revoke your use of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform at any time whether you have previously used it or not.
- PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
- By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you accept the use and processing by us and our nominated third parties of your personal data in accordance with the CSTA Privacy Notice for participants in competitions. For further information on how we collect, process and store your personal data, please read our Privacy Notice.
- CSTA MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION & MEMBERSHIP
- All players who wish to compete in the:
- CSTA Tennis Tour (Mens, Womens and/or Juniors);
- CSTA Seniors Circuit;
- CSTA Wheelchair Tennis Tour; and/or
- CSTA Beach Tennis Tour,
are required to have an CSTA Membership, valid for 12 months, and to be renewed annually.
- To obtain an CSTA Membership, you must register with us and create an CSTA MEMBERSHIP account by completing the online registration form, paying the annual membership fee and agreeing to comply with (a) the applicable regulations for your nominated Circuit(s) (“the Applicable Circuit Regulations”); (b) the applicable Welfare Statement, CSTA Privacy Notice for participants in CSTA competitions; (c) any other applicable rules and regulations specified in the table below; and (d) these Terms & Conditions.
- Your CSTA Membership and account details are not transferable and must not be used by any other person.
- CSTA Membership does not entitle you to attend or vote at CSTA General Meetings.
- RULES AND REGULATIONS
- The Applicable Circuit Regulations and other applicable CSTA rules and regulations are set out in the table below:

- We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to refuse any CSTA Membership application or renewal.
- We also reserve the right to suspend or cancel at any time and without notice, the Membership of:
- (1) any player who is found to have been in breach of these Terms & Conditions, the Applicable Circuit Regulations or any other applicable rules or regulations; or
- (2) any player who, in our reasonable opinion, has engaged in conduct we deem to be detrimental to our reputation or which brings the game into disrepute, or is, in our opinion, otherwise offensive or dishonest.
- Players found to be in breach of these Terms & Conditions may also be charged with a “Major Offence” and be subject to penalty under the code of conduct of the Applicable Circuit Regulations.
- YOUR CSTA MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT
- You are responsible for keeping your CSTA MEMBERSHIP account and password details confidential and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account.
- You accept responsibility for all activities that occur within your CSTA MEMBERSHIP account and under your password.
- You should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner (for example, to access your account).
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the personal data uploaded to the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform and retained by us for processing is at all times accurate and up to date. You may update your personal details and/or change your preferences at any time in the “My Profile” section of you CSTA MEMBERSHIP account.
- OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
- Our acceptance of your payment for CSTA Membership will take place when we email you at your nominated email address to advise you that your application for an CSTA Membership has been approved. At this point, a contract will come into existence between you and us.
- If we are unable to process your payment, we will inform you of this via email and we will not charge you. This might, in some but not all cases, be because you are not eligible for your nominated CSTA Circuit for reasons of age or disability.
- Once your Memberships is confirmed, you will be assigned an CSTA MEMBERSHIP number. This number shall be your personal identifier while you have an CSTA Membership and participate on the Circuits hosted by CSTA. You shall be entitled to access and use the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform until your Membership is terminated.
- YOUR CONDUCT
- You may not use the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform:
- in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
- in any way that may damage our reputation or that of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform;
- in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
- to harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information for the purposes of sending unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam);
- to transmit, or procure the sending of spam;
- to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which:
- is inaccurate;
- expresses an opinion which is not genuinely held;
- contains any material which is defamatory or derogatory of any person;
- contains any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
- promotes sexually explicit material, violence, any illegal activity or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
- infringes any intellectual property or other right of any other person;
- is likely to deceive any person;
- is made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
- is threatening, abusive or invades another person’s privacy, causes annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety, is likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person; and/or
- advocates, promotes or assists any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse; and/or
- to use automated scripts to collect information from or otherwise interact with the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform.
- You also agree:
- that in submitting or uploading any material to your CSTA MEMBERSHIP account, you will not impersonate any person, misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person, or give the impression that the material derives from anyone else (if this is not the case);
- not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt:
- any part of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform;
- any equipment or network on which the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform is stored;
- any software used in the provision of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform; or
- any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party; and
- not to knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware, or to attack the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack.
- By breaching paragraph 8.2(b) or paragraph 8.2(c), you may be committing a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 or other applicable legislation. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform and maintain an CSTA Membership will cease immediately.
- If you are accessing the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform from outside the United Kingdom, you should be aware that we have designed the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform and these Terms and Conditions to comply with the laws and regulations of the United Kingdom. We cannot guarantee that your use of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform will comply with local mandatory legal requirements in the country that you are accessing it from. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform does not place you or us in breach of any local law or regulation and you must not use the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform in any manner which may do so.
- You warrant that you will not use the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform in any of the ways prohibited in this paragraph 8, and you agree that you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of this warranty.
- PAYMENT
- By registering for or renewing your CSTA Membership, you are obliged to pay the annual membership fee, the amount of which will be notified to you in advance. By providing your billing information, you agree that you are liable to pay such fees.
- We reserve the right to change our membership fee or billing methods at any time and we will provide details of any such change(s) on the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform.
- We will not accept partial payments of the CSTA Membership fee and we will not make any refunds for termination of CSTA Membership unless we advise you otherwise in writing. You will be liable for any charges we incur as a result of rejected payments for any services provided through the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform.
- You may pay your annual Membership fee via credit/debit card. You expressly authorise us (or third parties acting on our behalf) to charge all CSTA Membership fees and other charges, including taxes, if applicable, including payment transaction fees for certain payment methods, to the payment method you have designated. You will be liable for all charges incurred by us as a result of a rejected credit/debit card payment.
- Credit/debit card payment is provided online via Payu http://www.payu.in). All credit/debit card details are processed over a secure connection to WorldPay and are encrypted at all times. Your credit/debit card details will not be passed to us or any 3rd party.
- All fines imposed under the CSTA Code of Conduct and/or Welfare Policy shall be paid directly to us by credit/debit card and such payments shall be made via your CSTA MEMBERSHIP account. For information on when fines are levied, the amount of such fines, when payment is due and any appeals process, please refer to the Applicable Circuit Regulations.
- ACCESS TO THE CSTA MEMBERSHIP PLATFORM
- We will use our reasonable endeavours to make the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform available for you over the internet. However, from time to time, the PIN Platform may be unavailable if we carry out routine maintenance and repairs or due to the unavailability or failure of the internet.
- We do not give any promise that the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform or the services it provides will be available for you to access, will continue uninterrupted or error-free, or will remain unchanged.
- We accept no responsibility for the content and functioning of other websites that you may access through the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform or which are linked to the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform, nor do we endorse the content of such other sites.
- You accept that we give no warranty whatsoever that use of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform, including engaging in email correspondence with us and others and the downloading of files, will not expose your hardware and/or software to computer viruses, or worms, Trojan horses or other code of a damaging nature. It is your responsibility to put in place appropriate protections.
- CHILDREN UNDER 18 – PARENTAL CONSENT
- If you are under 18, you must ask your parents or a guardian before you:
- use the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform;
- send any information to the CSTA or register for an CSTA Membership;
- make any payment for an CSTA Membership;
- enter any CSTA contest or survey that requires information about you or offers a prize.
- By continuing to use the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform, you are confirming that you have obtained the consent of your parents or legal guardian.
- COPYRIGHT AND DATABASE RIGHTS
- All copyright, trademarks, rights in databases and any other intellectual property rights which exist from time to time in all text, copy, source code, images, sound, software, data compilations, service marks, logos, the CSTA name and the domain CSTAtennis.com and any other material featured on the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform (“the Content”) are, as between you and us, owned by us, our affiliated companies or reproduced on the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform with permission of the relevant rights owner.
- You may read, view, print and download the Content for private and personal non-commercial use only, provided that all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices contained in or around the Content is retained. You may not make more than one copy electronically or otherwise of any of the Content and you may not recopy or further distribute, sell, publish or transmit any part of the Content by electronic or any other means.
- You may not systematically extract and/or re-utilise parts of the Content without our express written consent. In particular, you may not utilise any data mining, robots or similar data gathering and extraction tools to extract (whether once or many times) for re-utilisation of any substantial parts of this website, without our express written consent. You may not create and/or publish your own database featuring substantial parts of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform without our express written consent.
- You agree not to sell, resell, supply or otherwise make the Content, extracts of the Content or other information made available by us, in any manner or on any media to any third party without our prior written consent.
- WARRANTIES & LIABILITIES
- We will not be liable to you in respect of the following:
- direct or indirect business losses (including without limitation economic loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation);
- indirect or consequential loss;
- any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising from events outside of our control;
- any loss (whether direct or indirect) in respect of loss of or corruption of data, database or software.
- The Content may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. We make no warranty that any statements or text within the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform is accurate and accept no liability for any lack of accuracy.
- Our maximum aggregate liability in respect of any claim (however it arises) shall not exceed the total amount of membership fees received by us from you at the date of judgment in a court of law.
- All other warranties and representations in relation to the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Nothing in these Terms & Conditions will limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which may not be excluded under applicable law.
- WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS
- When using the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by email or provide you with information by posting notices on the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform. You agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
- For the avoidance of doubt, e-mail is considered to have been ’sent’ when successfully remitted on to the internet in a form or manner that does not prevent successful collection by the recipient. In proving the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that such letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that such e-mail was sent to the specified email address of the addressee.
- GENERAL
- Any failure or delay by us to enforce any of our rights under these Terms & Conditions or at law shall not be construed as a waiver of any of our rights under these Terms and Conditions.
- The waiver by us of a breach or default of any of the obligations under these Terms and Conditions by you shall not be construed as a waiver of any other breach of the same or other obligations.
- If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision (or any part of it) will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms & Conditions or any other valid part of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
- TRANSFER OF RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
- These Terms & Conditions are binding on you and us and on our respective successors and assigns.
- You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of your interest in these Terms & Conditions, or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent.
- OUR RIGHT TO VARY THESE TERMS
- We have the right to revise and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice to you.
- You will be subject to our rules and regulations and terms and conditions in force at the time that you access and use the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform.
- CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION
- These Terms & Conditions and your use of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform, together with any associated non-contractual disputes or claims, are governed by English law and you and us each accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, unless you live in a different country, when we may, in our discretion, take action for interim relief or to enforce any judgment against you in the country in which you reside.
- You warrant that your use of the CSTA MEMBERSHIP Platform complies with any applicable law in your jurisdiction.
